Day 30 Something
Good news!!! We are moving back to the LTAC hospital here in like a hour! We aren't sure of the room yet, I'll post soon. We just wanted you to be aware, so you don't go visiting the wrong place!!! Love you guys!

In the 2+ years that that I've worked in the UVRMC, CVICU I've never done this before... I thought I'd express my thanks to Mike and his family. I hope I'm not out of line. Mike and Lori, you have an INCREDIBLE family! I wish I could have met you all under different circumstances, nevertheless I very much enjoyed caring for and getting to know Mike. I will be thinking of you. As healthcare workers we do this virtually day-in and day-out, often our work becomes somewhat robotic... then we meet someone like Mike and the Baer's and are recharged with a sense of added purpose. I wish Mike a full and speedy recovery! We would love an update down the road (not all of us are good at proactively following blogs and such). Sincerely, CVICU, RN
